Zrinka Ivancic

Zrinka Ivancic is one of the most talented croatian musicians. She is laureate of numerous national and international competitions that have brought her performances at prestigious music festivals throughout Europe where she made a series of successful solo recitals and has attracted the attention of critics as well as audience. She performed as a soloist accompanied by all the major croatian orchestras and ensembles, and over the past decade presented herself as an excellent chamber musician and played with some of the best national and international soloists.

        

Zrinka Ivančić’s musical education started at the age of five. After finishing primary school and graduating Gymnasium and secondary music school in the class of prof. Blanka Podreka she enrolled Music Academy in Zagreb and graduated in the class of professor Damir Sekošan. In 2007. she got her Master's degree in the class of professor Vladimir Krpan and continued to attend lessons of professor Franco Scala in Imola.

         

She received the Rector’s Award of the University of Zagreb and as a solo pianist won several 1st awards on croatian national competitions, awards "Ferdo Livadić" and "Darko Lukić”, 1st prizes on the international competitions in San Bartolomeo as well as 1st prize in Moncalieri.

        

In addition to her notable concert activity, as a chamber musician Zrinka recorded several CDs with prominent croatian musicians: CD Epigrams, 2018. - together with Nikša Bobetko, double bass soloist of Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, CD Travelling flute, 2019. - with Renata Penezić, solo flutist of Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, CD Horoscope (Dance suite for two pianos and percussion), 2020. - with pianist Dalibor Cikojević and in 2021. she recorded CD Croatian composers for oboe and piano with Dario Golčić, solo oboist of Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra.

       

Croatian Society of Music Artists awarded her with Darko Lukić Award for the best artistic collaboration in the seasons 2019/2020 and 2020/2021.

     

 She is employed as a Senior Artistic Associate - collaborative pianist on Music Academy in Zagreb.
