Yura Seo

YURA SEO began her first piano lessons at the age of 5 and flute lessons at 15 in Jeju (South Korea).
After completing her bachelor at the Sungshin Women's University in Seoul, she decided in 2015 to move to Europe to deepen her musical experiences.
From 2015 until 2018, she studied the flute in Paris at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and the piccolo at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental d’Aulnay-sous-Bois from which she graduated with the highest honors.
In 2020 she obtained her Master's degree in flute with honors at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. She concluded her studies with a Diplôme de Concert and a Diplôme de pédagogie musicale respectively in 2021 and 2022 at the Conservatoire de Musique de la Ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette in Luxembourg. Throughout her studies, she had several concerts as a laureate in Jeju, Seoul, Paris and Brussels as well as in Luxembourg during her internship at the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg.
Her constant desire for improvement and personal development lead her to participate in numerous masterclasses with Julien Beaudiment, William Bennet, José-Daniel Catellon, Jasmine Choi, Rute Fernande, Juergen Franz, Carlo Jans, Sarah Louvion, Michel Moragues and Peter Verhoyen. Since 2023 she has joined the organising team of the International Forum for Flute and Piano Diekirch.
