FAQ- Frequently asked questions
Can I stay one night more (earlier or later) at the internat ? Unfortunalty no, you must try an hotel or youth-hostel (Luxembourg city, Ettelbruck or Vianden)
Do I need to bring something if I sleep at the internat ? Take your towell, your sleeping bag and if you want your pillow.
Can my parents stay with me at the internat ? yes, the price will be 30 EUR / night / person, breakfast is included. We have only individual rooms. The number of rooms is limited. Please contact us to organize this special request.
Are they some rooms to practice ? At the lycée, the flutists can practice, we have a lot of rooms.Pianists can use the Music School.
Can I pay with a "Cheque" or with Visa ? Not possible. You have to transfert money or pay in cash
Must I play to the concerts? Every student is welcome to play in concert. But this is not mandatory. Because we have a lot of concerts, the professors will organize the concert programs.
Is Yoga mandatory? It's up to you to attend the yoga lessons
What should I prepare ? Flutists: Prepare 5 works of different periods and styles. sonatas, concertos,for flute solo and for flute and piano. plus optional: one sonata flute and Basso Continuo by J.S.Bach, G.F.Haendel or Michel Blavet (Chamber music lesson with Ewa Rzetecka) one piece of the country you are coming from The best would be to have as many pieces as teachers we have this year. Pianists: Prepare a repertoire of five works (if possible, include one sonata by L.v.Beethoven) And if possible one piece of the country you are coming from. harpsichord players: Prepare a repertoire of five works for harpsichord.

How to come to Diekirch ?
BY PLANE directly to Luxembourg Airport come to the Luxembourg airport though the biggest cities of Europe (like Paris, London, Franfkurt..) (more details here ) take bus number 16 from airport to the station (more details here ) go out at the central train station of Luxembourg city take a train to Diekirch (see here for time schedule) go by foot from the station to the internat BY PLANE low cost flight (Ryanair) choose the Bruxelles Charleroi or Frankfurt-Hahn airport (more details here ) take bus flibco from this airport to the Luxembourg train station (more details here ) go out at the central train station of Luxembourg city take a train to Diekirch (see here for time schedule) go by foot from the station to the internat BY TRAIN find a train to Luxembourg from Paris, Bruxelles, Geneva, Frankfurt...(see here for time schedule) go out at the central train station of Luxembourg city take a train to Diekirch see here for time schedule) go by foot from the station to the internat BY CAR Ask your gps, google maps, it's easy..
